Le Camp du Orientation!

When we arrived in france we had a 2 day arrival camp in Paris. After being told it was going to be held in central Paris, us Kiwis got pretty excited. When we pulled up outside a mirrored building in a disgusting area we wondered if it was a quick stop over to pick up supplies or something. Turns out it was the hotel, (note, hostel) that we werent allowed to leave. (One of the leaders told us it was because we were in  a  Parisian ghetto and it was dangerous to walk down the street). Great.  We made our own fun though and meeting everybody from all over the world was awesome. We were put into rooms in order of our alphabetical names and the times we had to wake up on Sunday morning to catch trains and planes to the places we were going to. I was funnily enough put with an American girl (from Arizona) named Chloe Kay who is also living in Angers and going to my high school, and another girl from Germany who was awesome. It was strange to walk through the corridors and hear all these different languages, however English seemed to rein. On the first day we did nothing as everybody had to turn up, Then on the second day we had a petite tour du Paris! Which I will post more about tomorrow as I'm tired and want to go to bed because I have school tomorrow!
