The first snow fall !
La première chute de neige!

So excited I wore my pyjamas outside.

What a beauty.

Le Clerc

So as most of you know there were host family problems and now for a month or so I am staying with my friend Hannah and her family in a little town called La Ferriere near Parthenay in the middle of no-where. Its awesome ! (Apparently if I put a full stop there it would sound sarcastic.) . Anyway we have been having many adventures at the super market, including discovering the cheese Petit Brie (Little brie) which is the size of someones head and costs 4 euro, a vending machine for milk and that Yoplait isn't french for yoghurt.

Oh btw. This is half of the yoghurt section. Both sides.

Proof of life.

Maubuisson et Lacanau

Sorry for not posting for so long there have been some "complications" here but all has been sorted out and I can now get on with life! Anway. I went to a wee spot on the coast called Maubuisson to hang out for a few days with two friends Lou-An and Laura. Maubuisson is like a woodland wonderland forest dotted with the occasional house that to me looks more suited for the side of a  mountain that involves ski-ing rather than a small town beside a giant lake.

The lake is huge. Seriously. You would think you were at the ocean.

Which is also really accesible if you drive 10 minutes to the next town Lacanau which sits on the sea side. Its littered with tourist attractions and tacky polynesian tourist shops.

This was too good.

How ever the weather got really bad. Nice for photos, not so nice I think for the dudes surfing.

And lastly , one day when we were playing our 5294083984 game of Mexican train a wee bird flew into the glass door. It was really funny until we realised it had actually died in the process.
